You post reminded me of the (many) times we took the Eurostar from London to Paris or Brussels. The downside was that the train left in the dark, the upside was the the sun would be coming up just as we emerged from the channel tunnel. There's something about seeing the sunrise while whipping through the beautiful French countryside. Ah … trains!
